L’élargissement de 6ix en 6ix+1, autour de Thierry Simonot et Rudy Decelière, aux commandes du système de diffusion de l’AMEG (association pour la musique éléctro-acoustique à Genève) a pour objectif d’enrichir du point de vue sonore le champ musical de l’ensemble improvisé au moyen de l’électronique, et de le projeter ainsi à travers un orchestre de haut-parleurs. » R. « + 1 » is the extension of 6ix by Thierry Simonot, sound engineer from Geneva Sound Lab AMEG, and Rudy Decelière, sound artist, whose aim is to enrich the sonic field of the improvisational ensemble by use of electronic devices, and to project the sound through an « orchestra » of loudspeakers.
